A featured class of the 4th Trimester Fitness® Method, Postpartum Recovery® is a 6 week series that meets once a week to recover the pelvic floor and core after pregnancy. Whether your a mom who just gave birth, vaginally or by cesarean, or its been a while and your looking to recover from incontinence (leaky bladder or fecal), Diastasis, weak core, and pain during sex, this class can help both stages of "postpartum" achieve their goals.
Its ideal for a mom who just gave birth to attend this class. Must be at least 2 weeks postpartum for vaginal birth, and 6 weeks postpartum for cesarean birth. This series is "Your first step in fitness after birth" and will equip you on ways to prevent additional structural damage from occurring after birth.
Moms will be educated on how to structurally support a Diastasis and encourage its closure, what movements to avoid while the pelvic floor and Diastasis are healing, managing prolapse, preventing pelvic floor dysfunctions, and getting mom ready to re-enter back into fitness safely.
