Saturday 5th – Sunday 6th May In the Orangery with Jenny Greenland.
This course is for anybody with a desire to reconnect with their own creativity. We will explore ways of nurturing and developing creativity through a series of fun and focused drawing and painting sessions. We will aim to work in an imaginative and constructive way in a relaxed atmosphere, drawing upon the beautiful and peaceful surroundings of Burrswood for inspiration. Give yourself the time and permission to let go and just be, replenish your creative resources and be inspired! No previous experience of drawing or painting is necessary but all levels are welcome.
Jennifer is a figurative oil painter based in the Surrey Hills. Her subject matter is diverse but she is predominantly a landscape painter and likes to work outside as much as possible, drawing inspiration from the countryside surrounding her studio or from the bustling streets of the capital a stone’s throw away. Jennifer is always seeking to convey beauty, balance of composition, and a lively surface full of light and colour in all of her work. She recently won an en plein air painting competition at Windsor castle and her painting was admitted into the Royal Collection. As well as developing her own work, Jennifer is also passionate about seeing other people discover and develop in their own creativity.
£195 per person includes tuition, meals and one night’s accommodation. 10am Saturday to 4pm Sunday.
