Part two:
Wilderness Skills Field Training Certification; TBA
This field course is designed for the more seasoned outdoor person and someone who is ready to take the basic skills and put them into use in the filed. We will be heading out to a wilderness area in the foothills with minimal gear, build shelters, find pure water, make fire, and practice tracking skills together with non-lethal trapping techniques. There will be discussions about how to do these types of trips with youth in a safe and edge pushing way. There is so much I cannot describe here with words about a training like this. This will give yourself an experience beyond any classroom style teaching. It is an experience that is created by your own relationship to nature and for each person it is different.

This course is offered as a "certification" for those that would help them in their work. Over the past 30 years I have seen these skills work and have inspired me on a life long journey of sharing and teaching youth how to connect deeply with nature. Through these types of experiences I have seen profound changes in people, where they find more of what their heart is telling them, find trust in the Earth, and create a life following their passions.
