In its simplest definition, resilience is the ability to bounce back and recover in the face of adversity. As today’s employees face more challenges and workplace stress, this skill is more valuable than ever. Join us for this important session on building coping and relationship skills for success. The team from Mazzitti & Sullivan will lead this session which will specifically focus on social resilience. Social resilience is based on the premise that as a social species, we work, think, and excel in groups and in teams. Socially resilient individuals value diverse perspectives, backgrounds, and skills. They intentionally seek out and build relationships with other people in order to build their support networks and to increase their resilience to challenges, changes, and unforeseen difficulty. Socially resilient communities, work teams, and families are productive during times of stability and can adapt in times of disruption. This training will focus on how to increase your social resilience through building coping and relationship skills.
By the end of the training, participants will be able to:
· Define social resilience and understand its implications to daily life
· Identify strategies for increasing social resilience at work
· Identify strategies for increasing social resilience at home
· Assess their personal level of resilience and create an improvement plan moving forward
