Help our Youth Weightlifters and their coaches go to Grand Rapids, MI!!
Copper City CrossFit and Butte Barbell Club bring you our 3rd Annual Lift-A-Thon!!

This year is going to be bigger and better than ever! We have TEN of our youth lifters who have already qualified for #2018youthnationalchampionships, and more who have a chance to qualify in the next couple weeks. This fundraising event is designed to assist with the expenses of taking these lifters to Michigan in June for the competition, as well as, assisting with other lifters who may potentially travel to other national events.

On Friday April 13th at Copper City CrossFit all classes will be lifting heavy!! Make sure you come and lift as much as you can to show support for your #localweightlifters. For every class we will max out the two Olympic lifts (Snatch and Clean & Jerk). All lifters will have warm-up time, then will get three attempts at each lift to lift as heavy as possible. Your heaviest snatch and your heaviest clean & jerk will then be added together for your total score.

Wondering how YOU can help? There are a few different ways to donate.

• Flat Amount Donation – Leading up to the event, and the day of the event you can make donations at CCCF
• Become a registered lifter (FREE) – Simply sign up to be a registered Lift-A-Thon lifter, set yourself a fundraising and lifting goal, then find some sponsors. Asks friends, family, or anyone to sponsor you, and they may choose any amount that they will donate per pound you lift, or a flat amount donation. (e.i. $.50/lb & you lift 200lbs = $100 donated!)
• Sponsor a registered lifter. If you can’t make it to the event, or just don’t want to have any fun throwing heavy weights around you can choose a registered lifter to sponsor.

All classes will be normal schedule, with our youth lifters lifting AFTER our 5:30 class. We will then wrap up the evening with a BBQ. Be sure you come to cheer on all of our lifters as the shoot for new weightlifting PR's. Then been sure to stick around to eat and mingle!
