Beamish Museum

Beamish stands in 300 acres of beautiful County Durham countryside. Within the site you will find Pockerley Old Hall, The Town, Rowley Station, The Fairground, Home Farm and The Pit Village. With so many things to see, Beamish is a wonderful day out for people of all ages.

Yorkshire Explorer
Join us for a weekend break to the heart of Yorkshire. You’ll visit Skipton, which was used as a Royalist Garrison during the Civil War, Saltaire, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and Haworth, the home of the Bronte sisters. So, join us and explore these treasures of Yorkshire!

Day 1
After a morning departure from your local pick-up point, you’ll travel to Skipton where you’ll have plenty of time to explore. Why not visit Skipton Castle, which was built shortly after the Norman Conquest, or Parcevall Hall Gardens, which is an utterly beautiful place where you can find plants and blooms from all over the world. Or why not take a trip along the canal, or try your hand at painting Pottery at Coffee and Clay. Later in the day, you’ll re-join the coach and continue your journey to the hotel.

Day 2
After a leisurely breakfast, you’ll travel to Saltaire; the village is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and was built to house the workers of Salts Mill, a textile mill which is the focal point of the village. The village was built in the Italianate style and is an excellent example of a Victorian Industrial Model Village.

In the afternoon, you’ll continue on to Haworth, home of the Bronte Sisters. Here you can enjoy the stunning vistas and visit the Parsonage which was home to the famous authoresses, or take a trip on the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway.

Hollins Hall
The Hollins Hall Hotel and Country Club is situated amid 200 acres of gorgeous landscaped grounds. The Hotel has an 18-hole Golf course, and a spa which offers an indoor pool, sauna, and jacuzzi and well as a range of spa treatments to suit every guest. Guest rooms include free Wi-Fi, flat screen TV and tea/coffee facilities.
