Cafe-Girl Productions, Inc presents “Running The Human Race”, a night of script-readings which reflect the struggle of a human's plight to connect and become whole. Six writers have submitted their scripts, including Ray Nomoto Robison's “The Private Dance”, Ruth Wire's “Vigilante Grannies”, David Copelin's “Coming Up For Air”, Catherine Hansen's “Cell Phone Sketch”, Nolan Kenmonth's “The Legend of Stingy Jack”, and Justin Blasdel's “Bitch and Moan”.
The event will take place on Saturday, May 5th at 6:00 pm ending at 10:00 pm. Cost of admission is $15.00 per person and will be available for sale at the door or online. The event will be held at La Baguette 340 A Street, Suite 2.
This is the first annual script-reading fundraiser night for Cafe-Girl Productions, Inc and all proceeds raised from the night will go to future productions. Thus far, Cafe-Girl Productions, Inc has a webseries now in circulation, a short film, Catatonia of The Fairies, and a modern day Macbeth, Daggers In Men's Smiles. Currently, Cafe-Girl Productions, Inc is in production with an original webseries, Nate & Laura & How They Met and in pre-production for a horror film trilogy, Make Me Smile, which they are co-producing with Bison Motion Pictures.
