A Festival 2018 event.

Chill out with your kids on the school holidays to eight different performances scattered throughout the Live Site from 3-4pm daily, including circus to music, hula, drumming, dance and more!

Peformances:

5 - 7 April
Come Alive by CYCAS Circus
Young performers from Cycas Circus will entertain with a family fun filled production based on the fable 'The Tortoise and the Hare'.

8 April
Sing and Hula with Emmaline Anderson and Bronnie Francis Kurei

9 April
Sing, dance and create music with the Mad Hattresses featuring Rachel Bradley, Rebecca Langtree and friends.

10 April
African Drumming performance with the Cairns Youth Drum Group

11 April
FLASHMOB – Body Percussion and Dance performance featuring Deline Briscoe

12 April
DJ Crazybron will do a ripper set to get the party started with

13 April
Rock on with local superstars The Gecko’s

14 - 15 April
April Internationally acclaimed duo Sophie and Jacob McGrath from Dream State Entertainment will perform.

ABOUT FESTIVAL 2018
As part of the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games, preliminary basketball games will be hosted in Cairns. To extend the Commonwealth Games experience beyond the sporting stadium, Festival 2018 has been designed as a bold arts and cultural program to galvanise and inspire audiences around the region.

In Cairns Festival 2018 will feature a mix of free music concerts, performances, and visual arts designed to surprise and delight audiences of all ages across 12 days in April.
