Celebrate your nursing connections this Saturday, May 5, 2018 at the 26th Annual Alumni Luncheon. Enjoy a delicious lunch with your peers and hear from a fantastic line-up of guest speakers as they share stories about how the six degrees of connections flourish in their lives.
6 Degrees of Connections in Nursing
On average we are each six connections away from knowing another person. In the same way, nurses are connected to each other through their many roles. Our guest speakers will explore the six degrees of connection in nursing by sharing their own stories in these areas:
Research: Karen Benzies, Associate Dean, Research
Education: Tracey Clancy, Senior Instructor
Policy: Dianne Dyer, Clinical Practice Lead, Policy/Strategy Development
Practice: Cathy Ringham, Neonatal Clinical Nurse Specialist
Leadership: Dianne Tapp, Dean and Professor
The sixth role, community, is you: our alumni, students, colleagues, family and friends.
Come for a chance to network, reconnect, and recharge. There will be live music, door prizes, and a silent auction for this annual celebration of nursing with alumni, friends, family, students and colleagues.
