Why do we say "light-skinned" or "dark-skinned"? Have you ever had a conversation when someone called you a "light-skinned Hispanic" or "light-skinned African American?" What at first glance can seem harmless, colorism affects how we perceive ourselves within our communities. Join us to talk about how these perceptions of our skin can create prejudice, but also how we can navigate such common commentary.
