Come and join us in our I ❤️ Monday sessions with special promotions for classes running out of Cambusbarron Community Centre, £30 for 5 week block or £7.50 drop in for each class:

10-11am - Ashtanga
11-12pm - Yin

Or come to our fusion class at Raploch Community Campus (book through Active Stirling):

8-8.45pm - Yin Yang Flow (combines these 2 styles)

What is Ashtanga?
Join us for an Ashtanga based short form practice, working through the Primary Series. Postures will be talked through and demonstrated, so suitable for all levels, although a base level of fitness is recommended. Ashtanga is a dynamic form of yoga, with a fluid flow of heat and energy during asana practice. The combination of breath and movement stimulates the heart and lungs, improves circulation and enables balance, whilst developing strength and flexibility. This meditative practice provides a holistic approach to health wellbeing.

What is Yin?
Yin Yoga has its roots in Chinese Doaist practices, but also combines the influences of Indian Yoga. It is suitable for almost all levels of students. Yin Yoga provides the balance to our hectic “yang” lifestyle, working the "yin" tissues of the ligaments and deep fascial tissues, strengthening our joints and bones. Yin recognises that our anatomies are different and as a result postures are modified to the individual so they can find their own 'edge'. This style of yoga is not restorative, but the emphasis is on long-held passive stresses of the deeper connective tissues. This meditative practice allows you to become your own guru as you work beyond the physical self, into the meridian pathways of the subtle body, allowing a truly calming and rebalancing practice.
