The New Savages host the CBC jam on Sunday 8th April 2018.
As you may already have heard, we will have The New Savages from Melbourne hosting the April jam. We are really pleased to be able to bring this outfit to Candelo and we're sure you're going to love them.
" The New Savages play Melbourne Hill Country Blues. A very original mix of the deep delta blues sounds of Mississippi, the raw sexuality of The Doors and the storytelling of Johnny Cash.
Come and catch them when they host the Candelo Blues Club JAM this April. This is one of the many stops around the country on their 32 date National Tour in support of their new single, "Brother, I Am Your Keeper" - Their newest song is a rocking blues based on the Old Testament story of Cain and Abel.
One of the hardest working and most original bands in Australia, make sure you come down to catch them hosting the jam from 2:00pm.
For more information check them out here: www.thenewsavages.com."
We've just had word from the band that they will be supporting the Tathra Bushfire Relief Appeal by donating ALL PROCEEDS of CD sales on the day to the Appeal. That's right, not just a portion of CD sales but ALL PROCEEDS of sales! The Candelo Blues Club thanks the band and is grateful to have such support for Tathra's bushfire victims. And not only do you get an opportunity to donate to the cause but you get a Blues CD to take home and add to your collection! Win-win!
The CBC jam donations tin will be operational at the April jam but we urge you to support the Bushfire Appeal by buying a CD instead. However, any donations deposited in the tin will also be directed to the Bushfire Appeal.
Come along for a great afternoon of Blues (and add your support to the Bushfire Appeal).
