Cape Perpetua BioBlitz 2017 - Mushroom Survey

Ever wanted to learn more about Oregon’s coastal mushroom species, from local experts? Join us on November 11th and 12th to get the inside scoop on what can be found hiding in our national forests and wilderness lands.

WHEN & WHERE:
—Meet at Cape Perpetua Visitor Center

[Nov 11th 1pm—Mushroom and Lichen Talk]
Local Expert gives presentation on mushroom and lichen speceis of the region.

[Nov 11th 2pm-4pm—Mushroom Hunt]
Following the presentation, participants will group up with Forest Service staff to carry out trail surveys for mushroom species.

[Nov 12th 11am-2pm—Mushroom Hunt]
Continuing from the previous day, Forest service staff and local experts will lead groups on hiking surveys through the nearby National Forest.
