Aristotle saw τέχνη as representative of the imperfection of human imitation of nature. For the ancient Greeks, it signified all the mechanic arts, including medicine and music.
This production uses music and the medicine of performance art to delve into how recursive and self-creating the human world is, blurring concept and concrete. Are we the marble, the statue within, or the carver chipping away at the stone, or are we all three at once?
