Let Me Be Frank Productions shares their latest farce, “Something Stinks in Kaukauna,” at the Capitol on April 18. Small screen characters and Wisconsin history are brought to life in this hilarious new musical comedy. If you’re looking for a mid-week outing full of comedy, the Let Me Be Frank players will deliver the laughs, plus great music to boot!
The story takes place at the Grignon Mansion in the heart of Kaukauna. Ever since Mrs. Grignon put her land up for sale, there have been sightings of the Askeaton Corn Monster, and the usual smell of Kaukauna has worsened. The gang from Scooby Doo has come to town for the annual festival — the No Picnic Picnic. When they arrive they find the once famous festival has been canceled due to noxious fumes. The gang befriends Mrs. Grignon and tries to help solve the caper of the Askeaton Corn Monster and the cause of the potent smell in the area. It’s the 60s in Kaukauna and Scooby Dooby Dude, Shaggy, Fred, Velma and Daphne are ready to investigate.
