PCOS Advocacy Day is a two-day PCOS Challenge event in Washington, D.C. where a passionate group of patients, supporters, healthcare providers, researchers, community and industry partners unite on Capitol Hill to meet with members of Congress to urge them to make polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) a national priority. After a day of training and strategizing, participants will head to Capitol Hill equipped with the tools needed to educate Congress on policies that impact those with PCOS in their state and district, and why greater access to care and increased funding for PCOS research is needed. Personal meetings will be scheduled for advocates with their elected officials and their staff in both the U.S. House of Reprensentatives and Senate.

This two-day event is an opportunity to:
1) Share your story
2) Educate Members of Congress about PCOS
3) Make the case for why more must be done now to advance PCOS research and care

PCOS Advocacy Day will include:

1) On Wednesday, May 16th – An optional, but highly recommended, PCOS Advocacy Training Session from 2-4pm.

2) On Thursday, May 17th – A mandatory morning briefing and training session from 8-10am, followed by meetings with participants’ members of Congress and Hill staff. PCOS Advocacy Day will conclude with a reception and debrief from 4-5:30pm.
