Caravansérail presents Boxed Intimate, an evening of poetry taking place every first Tuesday of the month, curated by the team behind popular spoken word night Boxedin: Spoken Word & Poetry Open Mic.
Boxed Intimate aims at creating a slower, more relaxed evening of poetry that takes away the microphone, and allows writers to focus less on holding an audience, and more on feeling free to try new work.
On 3 April the poet featured will be Isaiah Hull, a poet from Manchester who has come up through the Young Identity poetry collective. Isaiah has written for the National Gallery, performed on BBC2, was selected as one of the top poets for BBC Radio 1Xtra’s Words First, been featured in VICE, has one of the most wonderfully honest TEDxManchester Talks ever and has been a massive supporter and contributor to all things spoken word and poetry in Manchester.
We’re honoured to have him!
