The Auburn University Department of English is proud to present Kiese Laymon, author of "How to Slowly Kill Yourself and Others in America" and "Long Division," winner of the Saroyan International Writing Award. Named a member of the Root 100 and Ebony Magazine Power 100, Laymon's work has appeared in McSweeney's, The New York Times, Guernica, EBONY, and The Best American Series.
