Court Appointed Special Advocates of Monterey County (CASA) serves as a voice for some of our most vulnerable foster children. A CASA is a trained community volunteer who has the opportunity to broadly influence the life of a foster child by advocating across many important life issues, including permanent placement, health care, education, and enrichment activities. We currently have over 100 Monterey County children on our wait list, needing a CASA's support.
The first step toward becoming a Court Appointed Special Advocate is attending an information session. Join us for an hour to learn how you can make a much needed difference in the life of a foster child. No specific education background is necessary, as we offer a comprehensive training course for all potential advocates before they are paired with children.
