Applied yogic anatomy is an important component of understanding and practicing yoga postures. Learning anatomy builds one's body awareness, deepens one's understanding of how his/her body operates and prevents injury. This anatomy weekend includes five components including the lower extremity, pelvic girdle & hip, spine, thoracic cage & breathing and upper extremity. Each session includes a lecture w/ a movement and palpation lab to follow.
Friday Night- Lower Extremity
Saturday Afternoon- Pelvis Girdle and the Hip
Saturday Evening- Spine
Sunday Morning- Skull, Thoracic Cage, Breathing
Sunday Afternoon- Upper Extremity
