Community spirit is the bedrock of Midway ISD, and at Castleman Creek, Hewitt, and South Bosque Elementary, we firmly believe in the power of community and its ability to support, rally around, and cheer on the individuals that make it up, and we need your help. Last year we partnered together to create the first annual Purple Panther SMAsh Dash 5k, and we are partnering again for the 2nd annual Purple Panther SMAsh Dash 5K; a benefit raising money and awareness around Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA). Two members of our Midway Community have children suffering from this cruel disease, and we are rallying around them in solidarity to show our support and help with the cause. Come decked out in your craziest purple and help us SMASH SMA!
100% of our proceeds will go towards the Gwendolyn Strong Foundation, an organization dedicated to providing researchers the funding necessary to help find a cure.
