Cornell Cooperative Extension of Rensselaer County will offer the class “Fermenting Vegetables For Fun and Health” on Thursday, April 12 at 7:00 PM at the Extension office, 61 State Street in Troy. Learn how to make fermented dill pickles and sauerkraut, plus other fermented vegetables through the age old practice of lacto-fermentation. A quick demonstration will show how easy it is, and references for further exploration will be included. Presenter Diane Whitten is the Community Nutrition and Health Educator with Cornell Cooperative Extension of Saratoga County.
