Piedmont Craftsmen & RiverRun International Film Festival presents When Objects Speak: Craft on Film, a FREE panel discussion about how the memorable & beloved objects we see onscreen are chosen, used, and celebrated in films and culture.

From the iconic lamp in A Christmas Story to Charles Foster Kane’s Rosebud in Citizen Kane, film objects often become cemented in our cultural lexicon. This panel will explore the process of bringing film objects from the page to the screen, calling on the expertise of writers, directors, set designers, prop makers and craftsmen to contribute their experiences in collaborating on the perfect objects for every scene.

Join Us April 23rd, 5:30PM, at the Center For Design Innovation – 450 Design Avenue.
This event is FREE.
