You're invited to a day-long dive into Unified Mindfulness with World-renowned meditation teacher Shinzen Young at the Monastic Academy. (CEDAR)

---

In this program, we’ll explore the Appreciation theme from ULTRA (Universal Library for TRaining Attention). You’ll learn four core techniques for working individually and collectively with all sensory experience:

Just See: Monitor all visual experience;

Just Hear: Monitor all auditory experience;

Just Feel: Monitor all body experience;

Note Everything: Work with any and all sensory experience.

With practice, this will allow you to experience whatever comes up with radical fullness.

In preparation for this program, please read my article What is Mindfulness?

Below is more information about the location and setting of the retreat. All of this info can be found on our website as well.

CEDAR (formerly the Center for Mindful Learning) is located at the end of a mile long private driveway that winds high up a hill. Our 123 acres is abundant with wildlife and boasts commanding views out over the Green Mountains. Recharge and reexamine your life in this peaceful setting where the trees, the rains, the winds, the sun, the snows, the frogs, and the stars still speak. We are located at 751 Page Road in Lowell, Vermont.

CEDAR, or the Community for the Experience and Development of Awakening and Responsibilty, is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization devoted to ending human greed in order to preserve life on earth. CEDAR was started by meditation teacher and contemplative leader Soryu Forall. The Center for Mindful Learning (CML) is an organization of CEDAR which is dedicated to spreading contemplative culture in the modern world. CEDAR is run by trainees of the Monastic Academy, a residential training program that develops leaders who embody wisdom, power, and love for all living things.
