POUND® is the world's first cardio jam session inspired by the infectious, energizing and sweat-dripping FUN of playing the drums.
This 90 minute workshop will focus on letting go of what you don't need and EMPOWERING you to bring in and bang in all the love and light into your life that you want and need. Get ready to set your soul on fire in this workshop and tap into your badass self. Using Ripstix®, lightly weighted drumsticks engineered specifically for exercising, POUND® transforms drumming into an incredibly effective way of working out.

Instead of listening to music, you become the music in this exhilarating full-body workout that combines cardio, conditioning, and strength training with yoga and pilates-inspired movements. Designed for all fitness levels, POUND® provides the perfect atmosphere for letting loose, getting energized, toning up and rockin’ out! The workshop will end with some yoga to ease the body and soothe the mind before you leave.

Ayanna Parrent is a certified fitness instructor in a variety of group fitness areas including Zumba, Yoga, Hip Hop and POUND Fitness. She currently teaches at a variety of locations on Cape Cod. Ayanna is a licensed independent clinical social worker, certified school adjustment counselor and has provided support to students in public, charter and charter schools.
