This group aims to support Women to find time for themselves through meditation

Meditation is process, a developing understanding of the self, of our true nature. It's a way of being aware and learning to be in the present moment. Meditation/relaxation is a perfect way to help create a tranquil space in your life.
There are many forms of meditation nearly all are concerned with stilling the mind, by focusing the attention and being in the now.
Meditation has often been associated with eastern religion but Christian contemplative practices, Gnostic meditation and prayer are also types of meditation.
Meditation does not need to have a spiritual basis though it will indeed enhance spiritual experience.
