Join the Charitable Pharmacy of Central Ohio for our second Rx Riders bike ride fundraiser, presented by the German Village Guest House, on Saturday, May 5, 2018. We will start at the Livingston United Methodist Church near German Village (200 East Livingston Avenue) to tour Columbus while raising money and awareness for our mission. We'll have three routes this year: 8-mile along the scenic Scioto River downtown, a 25-mile on the rails to trails Camp Chase trail, and a 50-miler on the Camp Chase trail.
The schedule is as follows:
7:00 a.m.: Registration opens
7:30 a.m.: 50–mile riders depart
8:00 a.m.: 25–mile riders depart
8:30 a.m.: 8-mile riders depart
The $50 registration fee includes lunch from The Kitchen restaurant and Happy Hour prices at the Little Palace restaurant on S. Fourth following lunch.
The Charitable Pharmacy of Central Ohio’s primary mission is to provide affordable and appropriate pharmacy services and coordinate access to health care for low-income, uninsured, and underinsured individuals in Franklin County. Services include:
• Medication and pharmacy services at no cost
• Counseling on proper medication usage
• Medication therapy management
• Social service program assistance referrals
• Health screenings
• Health and wellness education
• Vaccination and smoking cessation counseling
• Nutrition counseling and education
Donations will go to purchase inhalers and breathing medicine for low-income individuals in Franklin County.
