Recharge Your Body and Calm Your Mind.

This workshop will be a balance of revitalising yoga and calming relaxation. You will learn safe ways to prepare for posture work; focusing on body alignment, core stability and flowing movement. We will bring a variety of postures together into a revitalising sequence; to balance the body, connect with the power of the heart and come to stand in our inner strength.

You will learn a Revitalising Dru Yoga sequence (indoors) and after our lunch (optional) we will go on a walk in nature (optional); a gradual climb up Wistley Hill onto Ravensgate Common (AONB). See booking options below...

What the day looks like..

Morning:
Our yoga practice will start with flowing movements to ease away tension in the body; you will learn safe ways to prepare the body for asana (posture) work. We will practice each asana individually so you become familiar with each one; focusing on body alignment, core stability strength, breath awareness and flowing movement.

The morning also includes two nourishing relaxations! One before our morning refreshment break. So there is a period of rest for the body to assimilate the practice. After the break we will start to bring the postures together into the Dru Vitality Sequence and finish the morning yoga with our second deep guided relaxation.

**Modifications for postures will be given. A good level of physical stamina is required.**

Afternoon:
After lunch we will take a gradual climb up Wistley Hill onto Ravensgate Common, an area of outstanding natural beauty. On a clear day you can see across the Severn Valley to the Malverns with the Clee Hills in Shropshire in the distance. Our time in nature will be deeply replenishing.

Booking Options

You can book the morning yoga workshop only, 10am - 1pm, £30- includes yoga tuition, guided relaxations and refreshment break.

Include a 3-course wholefood lunch, prepared by the Whole Food Chef, add £10-
Include a wholefood lunch and nature walk (weather permitting) plus £15-

Cost of full day: £45.00 includes yoga tuition, two guided relaxations, 2-hour guided walk, wholefood dairy-free lunch suitable for vegans and refreshments. (please let us know if you have any other special dietary requests.)

Venue: Charlton Kings, the Stanton Suits next to the library and Wistley Hill & Ravensgate Common.

Cancellation Policy: Upon booking you have 7 days to decide if it's for you otherwise receive a full refund. No refunds within 14 days of the event, unless you can find someone to take your place or there is someone on my waiting list who will take your place, less a £10- administration fee.

What to bring:

~ Yoga mat, yoga brick (if you have one) lightweight blanket, wear stretchy clothing.

~ The walk: change of clothes for the walk, strong walking shoes, waterproof jacket, extra warm layer - fleece or puffer, small flask or water bottle, something waterproof to sit on and a small day pack to put everything in.The walk starts from our yoga space so there is no need to move your car.

Is this for me?... this will be a balance of energising yoga, calming relaxation and hill walking so a reasonable level of fitness is required. If you are not sure because of health reasons then please speak to your healthcare professional or get in touch to have a chat..... my details are below.

What if it rains?... in light showers we will still go on our walk. In heavier rains, storms we will go back to the Stanton Room for either yoga, relaxation or meditation.
