Please join us for the first of three poetry workshops with poet and author Karen Schoemer. The sessions, spread across three Saturdays in April, May and June, will combine in-class writing exercises, readings about poetry craft, and the sharing of work. Participants will be encouraged to develop poems from the exercises generated in class, and time will be devoted to the revision process.
The workshop is suitable for writers at all levels, teens and up, and is open to a maximum of 12 participants. Individual writing samples may be submitted in advance but are not necessary. Please bring a notebook and pen or pencil to all sessions.
