Hike Description: Hike and climb over 2,000 stairs along the Hamilton Escarpment (made up of 6 sets of stairs: Chedoke-289, Dundurn-329, James-232, Wentworth-500, Kenilworth-387, & Uli's-358) and hike 20km along the Bruce Trail, Chedoke Radial Trail & the Escarpment Rail Trail and back to the beginning. Please, no dogs.

Hike will start at 9:00am; please arrive by 8:45am.

Type of Hike: This is a self-guided hike. You must go through both check-points.

Hiking Pace: Set your own pace. Terrain: Strenuous

Please Note: This is an arduous hike because of the stair climbing involved. We strongly recommend that people participating have stair-climbing experience.

Checkpoints: There will be one checkpoint at the top of Uli's Stairs and another at the end. Water and a light snack will be provided. Please bring enough water with you as well as any food you might need for sustenance. There will be a few short breaks during the hike.

How much does it cost? CAD$25.00 (Non-refundable) Your fee includes the badge and the checkpoints.

Is there a badge? Yes, badges will be handed out at the end on completion of the stairs and the hike.

What do I wear? Wear comfortable hiking shoes or runners. Dress for the weather. Bring drinking water.

What if it rains? This is a rain or shine event.

What if I need to drop out? As we are in an urban area, there are places to meet a taxi or a ride along the way. This must be arranged by you, the participant. If you have to drop out, please let one of the leaders know.

How long will it take to finish? We estimate that it will take between 4 1/2 and 5 1/2 hours.

Is my ticket/registration transferable/refundable? No. Please let us know if you cannot make it.

Can I update my registration information? Yes.
