Athletes are required to attend at least one skills clinic to learn the placement material they will be assessed on during team placements. Failure to attend team placements will result in the athlete not being placed on a team. Prior to attending a clinic, athlete’s account, including the placement fee, must be paid in full and athlete must have completed and turned in the 2018–2019 paperwork.

Cost: $60/athlete or $80 for cheer & hip hop athletes

Monday, May 14:
5–5:30 PM: Q&A with CFL Owners & Coaches
5:30–6:30 PM: Cheer Clinic for Ages 5–11
6:30–7 PM: Hip Hop Clinic for Ages 5–11
7–8 PM: Cheer Clinic for Ages 12–18
8–8:30 PM: Hip Hop Clinic for Ages 12–18

Wednesday, May 16:
5–5:30 PM: Hip Hop Clinic for Ages 12–18
5:30–6:30 PM: Cheer Clinic for Ages 12–18
6:30–7 PM: Hip Hop Clinic for Ages 5–11
7–8 PM: Cheer Clinic for Ages 5–11
8–8:30 PM: Q&A with CFL Owners & Coaches

Saturday, May 19:
9 AM–12 PM: Team Placements
• Please arrive for cheer team placements in dark shorts, a clean white shirt, and tennis shoes with hair pulled back with a bow.
• Please arrive for dance team placements in dark pants, a clean white shirt, and tennis shoes. Do NOT wear any jewelry to team placements.
• During team placements, athletes will perform skills together in groups of three to five.
• Placements for cheer and dance will be separate.
• Teams will be announced via the Cheer For Life Facebook page and posted on the gym door by 8 PM, Sunday, May 19.

Please Note: All athletes who participate in team placements will be placed on a team. Team placements are based on age, skill, and commitment level and are done at coaches’ discretion. Team placements are not negotiable, but we are happy to answer questions you have about them.

Monday, July 9–Friday, July 13, 2018:
MANDATORY Team Camps: Times TBA
Failure to attend these MANDATORY camps will affect an athlete’s position in the routine. Additionally, failure to attend the camps may result in removal of an athlete from the team.
