This class’ main goals are promoting love and compassion and help the students to realize the key role that our mind plays in our experience as human beings. Here, we will talk about some of the misconceptions that there are about Buddhism and, of course, we will go over the core teachings of the historic Buddha in a very practical way and with a daily-life approach.

To receive these teachings YOU DO NOT NEED TO CONVERT INTO BUDDHISM or abandon your religion or faith. You only need to have a genuine purpose for understanding your mind and the causes of dissatisfaction, pain, stress and afflictive emotions in general.

“Accepting Buddhism, however, differs significantly from conversion to a Biblical faith. It does not entail complete renunciation of one’s previous faith, but leaves room for many of its assertions to remain as valid stepping-stones along the spiritual path.” – Alexander Berzin, Scholar, translator, and teacher of Tibetan Buddhism.
