When is testing necessary? How important are test scores? How do CMS students prepare for testing? Are there other ways to determine academic development besides written tests?

Join us for an in-depth exploration of assessment within Montessori pedagogy. Our Head of School and teaching faculty will explain whether and why standardized testing is utilized in their environments, and what other methods are used on a daily basis to track and assess the development of their students.

Testing week at CMS starts April 16! This Parent Ed will help you understand the purpose of testing week and will equip you to better support your child. If your young student is not yet participating in testing week, you'll learn the tools their teacher uses to measure development.

This event is free and open to the public. Friends and family are welcome and encouraged to attend. RSVPs are required and childcare is only available for CMS-enrolled students (please indicate that you need childcare when you RSVP).
