On Wednesday April 18th, 5pm, Donald Nitchie will be back at the library to read some of his own poems along with Jill Jupen and Nan Byrne. Jupen recently published a new chapbook for poetry, The Space Between, from Plan B Press. She is the leader of the Martha’s Vineyard Poets Collective and has published in numerous literary magazines, along with having been nominated for a Pushcart Prize. Nan Byrne, MFA, has appeared in multiple literary magazines including Seattle Review, Michigan Quarterly Review, Fiction Southeast, Other Voices International, Canadian Woman Studies, and has worked in TV since 2006. She is also the editor of numerous books, including Bar Stories, and Ourselves as Students: Multicultural Voices from the Classroom. Students who attend Nitchie’s classes will also be invited to read at this Poetry Reading if they are interested.
