The Lake Erie shoreline in northwestern Ohio is known as one of the best birding areas in North America. Birders from all over the continent make a spring pilgrimage to the region in search of warblers and other migratory
songbirds. Join experienced birders Michelle Fournier and Jeanne Henderson on a trip to this special region during spring migration. We’ll explore a variety of habitats over the weekend as we visit the Magee Marsh Wildlife Area, Ottawa National Wildlife Refuge and other birding hotspots.

We’ll travel to Ohio in CNC’s 15-passenger van. Lodging at Port Clinton at the Country Inn & Suites is included in the registration fee. Amenities include a swimming pool and continental breakfast (the entire hotel is a non-smoking). Registration assumes double occupancy. If you are registering by yourself, please indicate your need for a roommate and one will be assigned to you. Participants should bring two sack lunches (coolers will be available) and plan on eating other meals out (breakfast is provided by the hotel).

Ages: 18 & up
