YIn Yoga is an opportunity to get to know your body in each pose.
In holding each pose for anywhere from 1minute to 5 minutes you are given the time to simply melt into the pose, and challenge yourself to go deeper.
This practice is a great complement to your weightlifting regimen!
You are given enough time in each pose to focus on how it feels, to focus on your ease of breath or lack there of, then moving yourself forward past the edge of discomfort and into new found ease. This sense of deepening gives your body the opportunity to reach into deep into muscle tissues, bring them the much needed breath in order to find restoration. Regenerating cells in the stillness and depth of your practice.
