The Murrieta Stake will be presenting “Murrieta Stake’s Got Talent” on Saturday, May 19, 2018. The purpose of the event is to showcase the talent in our Stake. The event will take place in two parts; the first part will be “talent on display”, and the second part will be the “variety show”.

The “talent on display” portion will consist of talents that are displayable, and will be displayed on tables throughout the Stake Center. The displays may include, but are not limited to, crafting, quilting, sewing, art, sketches, unique collections and any other talent that is interesting and displayable. We would like to have at least ten displays per ward for a total of seventy displays.

The “variety show” will be exactly that, a VARIETY show. We are looking for acts that range from vocal and instrumental performances to magic, juggling, and comedy. We will put on a show similar to the popular TV show America's Got Talent (minus the buzzers and inappropriate acts).

Due to time constraints, the variety show will be limited to two acts per ward (about 5 minutes each) with final selections by the Stake committee. However, we welcome all submissions so we can put on the best variety show possible!

If you or a member of your ward has a talent that would be a good fit for either display or performance at Murrieta Stake's Got Talent on May 19th or for more information or to submit a name contact your ward representative listed below or call/ text Kari Skousen. Name/ act submissions are due no later than April 15, 2018.
