Voix Seraphique is a harp and fortepiano duo specializing in chamber music and salon music 1750-1810 which will join Church of the Loving Shepherd Friday, April 6th, 7:30 PM. The lightly strung fortepiano creates a close blend with the sound of the harp. In the era of the fortepiano this ensemble was widely popular. The instruments were considered appropriate for nice young ladies like Cheryl and Kathleen, as well as for professional virtuosi such as the Dusseks (also like Cheryl and Kathleen). Cheryl Dungan Cunningham, harp, and Kathleen Scheide, fortepiano, frequently collaborate with additional musicians as Le Meslange des Plaisirs.
