Gain a better understanding of how to utilize your core strength and ignore the central powerhouse in your body. Many individuals are shut down around this area causing back pain, slouched posture, suppressed emotions, and poor digestion. The core muscles consist of your spinal muscles, muscles of the abdominal wall, gluteal (butt) muscles, and any back muscles linking the pelvis to the shoulders and legs. These muscles need to be strong to allow the body to transmit power to limbs, stabilize the body, provide balance, link the upper and lower body, and is essential for injury prevention and optimal movement.
This class will help you begin to engage your core and move freely from your center. Awakening your core can allow for freedom in your body and movement in your practice on a whole new level.
