If you are aged 12+, join us in the library to celebrate Youth Week 2018 with this Zine Creation Workshop run by Daniel Juckes.

What is a zine? A zine (/ziːn/ ZEEN; short for magazine or fanzine) is most commonly a small-circulation self-published work of original or appropriated texts and images, usually reproduced via photocopier. Usually zines are the product of a single person, or of a very small group.

Daniel Juckes is a PhD Candidate and sessional academic at Curtin University. He is interested in the intersection of material culture and autobiography, and in the way objects and artefacts might tell stories. His writing has been published in Australian Book Review, Life Writing, Meniscus, TEXT, and Westerly. He co-edited Exploring Nostalgia for I-D Press.
