Join us in the Gordon Lounge for a drink, see a show, and learn more about how to get involved with some of our City Connects community partners.

What is City Connects?
It's our way of bringing together our audience and community organizations that we share core values with! This season, we're working with Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh, ACHIEVA, Allies for Health + Wellbeing, and YWCA Greater Pittsburgh. We've created unique partnerships with each, sharing volunteers and resources on special projects.

What happens at Happy Hour?
Drink specials and good conversation! Our partner organzations will be set up in our lobby with information about how they serve the Pittsburgh community, and how you can become a volunteer or advocate for their cause.

Our featured partner for the evening is Allies for Health + Wellbeing:
Allies (formerly Pittsburgh AIDS Task Force) envisions a community where all individuals have access to medical care and supportive services in a welcoming environment free of stigma and discrimination.

How much does it cost?
If you're already a member of those ☝️☝️ organizations, or if you ask them nicely, they can provide you with a generous discount code for the evening! If you aren't associated with them: use promocode MARKET at purchase to get $30 tickets!

ABOUT THE PLAY
In the not-so-sunny side of California, Alix bounces between motel rooms, taking care of her twin brothers for her mostly MIA mother. Her classmate Mason is a budding songwriter trying to keep off the radar of his absent father’s Hong Kong mafia friends. Together, they must learn to scrape by without giving up their dreams. This world premiere is a coming-of-age tale about making something out of nothing in the land of plenty.
