Explore new and traditional yoga poses using an aerial hammock (soft fabric suspended from the ceiling). Throughout class we’ll practice standing and seated poses using the hammock, and progress to balances and inversions, all while being partially or fully supported by the hammock. Aerial yoga increases flexibility and joint mobility, strengthens upper body and core, helps decompress the spine, relaxes the nervous system and helps release chronic tension. Students are never more than a few feet from the ground, making this empowering practice available for both new and experienced yogis. We'll end each class in a suspended relaxation pose to complete your aerial yoga journey, leaving you feeling energized!
