Civil Bikes is delighted to host Melody Hoffmann for a talk about her book, "Bike Lanes are White Lanes: Urban Planning and Bicycle Advocacy". She will discuss the book, her work as a bicycle advocate and community organizer. And will delve into topics like community engagement, policies such as vision zero, and more! There will be time at the end to go deeper with Q/A.

In our book club and we’ve read through this important book that brings the complex and divergent issues in planning and bicycle advocacy and ways to build community and capacity around talking to communities and ways to make their experiences a valuable part of planning and creating bicycle-friendly communities.
