What is one of the greatest sets of geological events to occur in North America, and is literally is in our backyard? The Missoula Floods! Dr. Burns will focus on the incredible story of discovery of the floods by Geologist J. Harlen Brett and the effect the floods had on the development of the landscape. It will be a great talk on the geological history and science of the floods occurring between 15,000 and 18,000 years ago!
