Belly Dance 101 is created to give brand new students a solid foundation to continue on in our weekly belly dance class. Students wishing to review basics are also welcome.
This is a 4 week class. Please sign up for all 4 weeks. This session runs Tuesdays, April 3rd-24th at 8:00-9:00pm. Please contact us before you register if you are only able to take 2 or 3 weeks.
You will learn the basics of belly dance history and movement. Movements are grouped together into categories to facilitate quick learning. Circles, Shimmies, Slides, Lifts/Drops, Undulations, Twists/figure 8's, and traveling steps. Links to supplemental videos online will also be provided to students for practice outside of class.
This class is $15 per class per person, or $50 for all four weeks weeks. All Dance & Fitness Memberships or Unlimited Memberships are eligible for this class.
