Join Artist, Writer and Naturalist Julie Zickefoose on Friday, April 13 for her presentation, "Baby Birds: An Artist Looks into the Nest."
Art and science combine to capture the amazing stories of 17 different bird species, charting their daily growth from the moment they hatch to their first forays into the sky. See how an artist’s eye, a natural curiosity and an occasional call of duty to play human foster mother to orphaned hatchlings inspired a career pursuit to understand the astounding growth and development of baby birds.
