Pop-Up Cinema and Silent Events have teamed up in a magical collaboration to present a series of "Silent Cinema by the Sea" events.
The countdown to Autumn begins and we plan to make the most of what is left of this summer by merging music and film with Cape Town's sunsets to set the tone and get everyone in the zone and off their phones.
We are taking film out of the city and onto the sandy beach where you get to wiggle your feet as your heart dances with hypnotic beats.
As the sun goes down, we turn up the sound before the Pop-UP Cinema begins. Bring your cushions, pillows, blankets, popcorn and other sweet and lovely things - our series begins with the movie 'GIVEN' (http://www.giventhemovie.com/trailer)
Get comfy but don't yawn, the night is far from over.
Whether you are tickled or sober,
We want to show ya,
Some of the greatest films on the global circuit - why?
Because you deserve it!
Beautiful beats, serene sunsets and cinematic magic is the blend.
Whether you are young lovers, a big greek family or just a bunch of really close friends - make sure you make the most of the lovely weather as this summer season ends.
Pop-Up Cinema is weather dependent, we will be doing as many of these last minute pop-up sea cinema's as possible so be sure to stay tuned as we plan to keep you entertained from the time the sun is settled right up until the peak of the moon.
Thanks for reading! We hope to see you soon! :)

Given is the simple yet powerfully contemplative story of a unique family legacy come full circle. Told through the visceral experience of a 6 yr. old, Given follows legendary surfers Aamion and Daize Goodwin from their island home of Kauai through 15 different countries in the quest for surf and to fulfill a calling handed down through generations. Set in wave after wave of stunningly visual earthscapes, Given blooms into a tender yet stirring exploration of a young boy’s understanding of life through his familial bonds and their reverence for nature. Deeply moving, Given gives us the humbling contrast of a small voice voyaging through a big world as it finds its way home again.
