If you’ve been wanting to try mat yoga and start at the beginning, with careful attention to form, safety, and breath, this is your class. We will practice the basic yoga poses, using yoga props as needed to make each pose beneficial and comfortable. We will practice with skill and with strength, with mindful attention to our breath. A five-minute savasana, or deep relaxation, will end each practice. You’ll leave feeling stronger, longer, open, and relaxed. Students are asked to inform the instructor of any physical limitations so she can accommodate the poses as needed. Tuesdays, 5:30-6:30 pm, April 24 - May 29, 6 sessions, $40.
