Gil Storms will be speaking about Charles D. Poston: Father of Arizona. Charles D. Poston is best known for his early settlement of Arizona, the effort he put into making Arizona a U.S. territory, and owning one of Arizona's first silver mining companies with headquarters in Tubac. This is based on his book titled "Reconnaissance in Sonora: Charles D. Poston's 1854 Exploration of Mexico and the Gadsden Purchase".
