Tuesday April 17th the Local Music Project presents two fine acts: starting at 7pm will be folk-rock duo O-Ryon. Members Ron Kadey and Bryan Dickenson have performed together for over two years in the central New York area, and had 90 combined years of experience before forming their current duo.. They have also performed at the Canadian Guitar Festival and gigged in southwestern Florida. The duo is especially appreciated for their incomparable harmonies. Samples of their music can be heard at Reverb.com and videos can be seen on YouTube, both by doing a search for O-ryon.
At 8pm blues harmonica specialist Rob Norris returns to the LMP. With his guitar slung over his shoulder and harmonica to his lips, Rob is a singer/songwriter who takes a musical picture of the world combining elements of blues, folk, rock, and country into an acoustic blended picture we can all find ourselves in, as we explore our own place in that world.
The Local Music Project provides a venue where top local musicians can play a full concert for an attentive audience. All shows begin at 7 pm in the Colgate Inn in Hamilton, donation suggested. For more information call 824-1094.
